Not just pretty faces......

In addition to both being Owner Handled Multiple Group Placing Deerhounds.......

Bentley, who is owned and shown by our friend Georgina Nagy of OH., has had some very nice wins in his short show career, including a nice start with BOS in puppy sweeps (to is sister Eva) at the Eastern Regional Specialty, 2003; Winner's Dog for a major at the Potomac Hound show 2003; winner of the large 12-18 month dog class at the National Specialty in VT, 2004; was RWD at the Eastern Regional 2004, (in conjunction with the NY Wine Country Circuit) then finished his Championship the following day by winning a 5pt major.

In 2005 Bentley, began a very successful racing career, and in 2006 we hope to see him on the coursing field.

Update**** Bentley wins Straight Racing Best of Breed at the 2006 National Specialty in MI!!

Anoona, whom we imported from our friends Theo and Susan Andly, Germany, has temporarily retired from the coursing field and show ring to play mother. In addition to a successful show career, Anoona had some very nice lure coursing wins; she won a Best in Field her second weekend of coursing, was Coursing High Scoring Open Deerhound MADA Octoberfest, 2002, and joint high scoring in 2003. She won one of her AKC majors (5pts) at the Deerhound National, in KY, 2003.  She was the #1 ASFA and AKC lure coursing Deerhound for 2003.

In 2004 she turned her attention to playing Beauty Queen, garnering many Breed wins including at the Potomac Hound show, and Breed/Group placements at supported entries, ending the year as #3 Scottish Deerhound.

We hope to have Anoona out in the ring with her kids in 2006, and perhaps on the coursing field to show her pups how to chase the bunny.
